Department of Nanometrology

Dr. Skrzypacz is a guest of the Department of Nanometrology

Date: 16.07.2025

From July 14-18, 2025, Dr. Piotr Skrzypacz visited the Department of Nanometrology. Dr. Skrzypacz is a professor at the Faculty of Mathematics of Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. He specializes in modeling microsystems using numerical and analytical methods, collaborates with Prof. Andrzej Dziedzic and the Department of Nanometrology, and has authored joint publications. He is currently residing in Wrocław (where he comes from) to conduct research collaboration in the field of modeling micro- and nanosystems for energy harvesting purposes, and in the field of proximity and the influence of nonlinear forces.

On July 16, Dr. Skrzypacz presented a lecture on the precise description of the critical force values governing the adhesion phenomenon of attractive mechanical elements. The meeting was very well attended by staff, students, and guests of the Department.
