From July 13 to August 2, 2025, Piotr Smagowski visited the University of Bedfordshire (UK) as part of the international ENSIGN project. During his stay at the Centre of Cloud Robotics & Connected Intelligence, projects were undertaken to apply machine learning, language models, and generative artificial intelligence methods to near-field microscopy techniques. Selected artificial intelligence methods can be used to streamline experiments by supporting image processing, analyzing results, and automating the settings of near-field microscopy controllers.
